Gingrich Feeds off Tumultuous Situation

Obama answered a couple of questions about the unfortunate shooting and killing of 17 year old Florida boy Trayvon Martin.

Presidential hopeful, Newt Gingrich, voiced his opinion on President Obama’s statements on the situation.

“What the president said, in a sense, is disgraceful. It’s not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background, ” said Gingrich on Hannity Live.

It seems like Gingrich should have an opinion on the situation and avoid discussing how President Obama handled it. Gingrich’s backlash just seems like a campaign tactic, if you ask me. Had Obama not said anything about the tragedy, would Gingrich have had anything to say? Doubtful.
