Ruling on Campaign Contributions

The U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia made a ruling this week concerning the disclosure of campaign contributions made to political action committees (PACs).

In the past, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) has said that those disclosures didn’t ahve to be made as long as the money was not earmarked for a specific campaign.

Consequently, this is a very controversial ruling for some.
